European conference on Practice Based and Practitioner Research

This first European PBPR-conference welcomes practitioners, academics and educational policy makers, who share interest in working and engaging in practitioner research or developmental work. They consider their experiences as 'useful' for their colleagues, whereby relevance’ is the central concept. Bridging the gap between researchers and practitioners is seen as an important outcome of this international meeting. Participants are encouraged to present practice-oriented research based on the exploration of practical problems and implementation challenges which they encounter in their educational practice. In presenting these findings, interactivity and communication are promoted by formats as round tables, interactive workshops, learning groups, etc.
