The goal of the Seminar is to discuss the role of adult learning and education in sustaining a democratic society

- Citizens and their civic rights and duties

- Building a civic society infrastructure in ‘old’ and ‘new’ democracies

- Maintain already achieved level/scope of civil society

- Role of adult education and adult educators in these processes

- Individual and group engagement in sustaining/building civil society
