NVL
Dear Reader,
there are serious shortcomings in the quality of the initial education available to prospective adult educators in many parts of the Nordic-Baltic region. This is the case despite the fact that much attention has been paid to adult education in recent years.
Since educators play a crucial role in securing the quality and effectiveness of adult education, this is a serious problem. Moreover, their contribution is a central factor influencing adult learners’ motivation to pursue further studies. Marcella Milana and Anne Larson from the Danish School of Education at Aarhus University discuss the problems in their article.
This issue of DialogWeb focuses on research and creativity. For instance, we offer a report from the Third Nordic Conference on Adult Learning, which was held in Denmark in late April. Read more in DialogWeb and on the NVL website.
