The Nordplus Framework Programme
offers financial support to a variety of educational cooperation between partners in the area of lifelong learning from the eight participating countries in the Baltic and Nordic regions. The total budget for The Nordplus Framework Programme in the first programme year, 2008, is 63,7 MDKK.
The Nordplus Adult Learning Programme stimulates and develops adult learning in all its forms; formal, non-formal as well as informal learning. Prioritised areas and themes for Nordplus Adult in 2008
• Quality development in the area of adult learning in a perspective of lifelong learning
• Recognition and validation of skills and competencies acquired in informal and non-formal learning
• Basic competencies (i.e. reading-, writing-, mathematics- and IT-skills)
• Language learning for immigrants and minority groups
• Results of investments in adult learning
