Beskrivning / Case description:

Ten Nordic organizations work together to develop e-portfolio/portfolio methods to visualize and stimulate the everyday learning in the perspective of lifelong learning of adults. The project, Nordport (=the gate of the North), which is supported by Nordic Council of Ministers, was established last year. The partners represent formal, non-formal and informal adult education in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Folkuniversitetet in the south of Sweden coordinates the project. The project works with three main perspectives of portfolio: - As a pedagogic approach and method - As a tool in the validation process - As a tool of presenting one’s competencies - a tool for a database The project’s target groups are: - Organizations and institutions - Teachers, tutors and mentors - Students and learners The project partners are: VUC Kolding, Danmark FPP, Danmark Kristianstads Väglednings- och lärcentrum (VLC), Sverige Danmarks Pædagogiske Universitet (DPU), Danmark Norsk Forbund for Fjernundervisning (NFF), Norge FO-Århus og Daghøjskolen Gimle, Danmark Helsingborgs stad, Utvecklingsnämnden, Vuxenutbildningen Medborgarinstituten i Syd-Österbotten, Finland Odense Fagskole, Danmark
