AGADE - "A Good Adult Educator in Europe"
EU Grundtvig project. Agade is based on the experience from Learning 4 Sharing (see link below), a NCM project 2000 – 2003.
AGADE, "A Good Adult Educator in Europe", has been granted support by the EU Grundtvig Programme. The curriculum development project lasts two years, and a European course for adult educators will be offered at the end of the project.
The target group for the course are adult educators (teachers, moderators, facilitators, coaches) with at least 3 years practice/work experience in adult education from the partner and other European countries.
The project will formulate the criteria of a good adult educator in the partner countries and develop a curriculum for adult educator further training based on the set of criteria. The European project will develop further the criteria and curriculum produced during the NCM sponsored Nordic – Baltic project ”Learning 4 Sharing” (see link below).
The project is coordinated by the Estonian Non-formal Adult Education Association. The partners in the project are:
• University of Minho, Unit for Adult Education, Portugal
• Lithuanian Association of Adult Education
• Latvian Adult Education Association
• Norwegian Association for Adult Education
• Hungarian Folk High School Society
• National University of Ireland, Maynooth
