Change and Resistance: An International Conference on Social Transformations and Education

In June 2007, the University of Gdansk, Poland, is organising an international conference devoted to current social changes, social resistance and education. The conference will take place in the city where, in 1980, the movement of 'Solidarnosc' started to trasform Europe, leading to dramatic changes in the whole world. The conference will gather leading researchers in social sciences, discourse studies and education from many countries of the world.
